WILLIAM "BILL" KENNEDY

Bill was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland and began producing paintings and sculpture  at age fourteen.  He began repairing and painting decoys made by long gone master carver-painters with whom he had the opportunity to work and learn the trade.  Today he uses antique hand tools exclusively to chop, shave and carve utilizing carving and painting styles he learned as a youngster.  He works today in oil flatwork and sculpture to capture his wildlife subjects. Bill has won numerous awards nationwide with his carvings and paintings including multiple wins at the renowned Ward Foundation on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  Bill remains captivated by color, form and the study of wildlife.
